✦ Care for Incense ✦
Four stages of preservation
01
Awaken
For the first two weeks, after washing your hands, gently rub the beads for 5–10 minutes each day. Your skin's light moisture and oil are the finest polishing agents, waking up the incense molecules.
02
Nourish
After handling it for a few days, take it off and set it aside in a cool, shaded place for a day to allow it to oxidize naturally. Alternate between Steps 1 and 2.
03
Integrate
Once you get used to the scent, it is no longer just an accessory—instead, the fragrance becomes a part of you and forms your own unique characteristic.
04
Patina
Over time the beads deepen in colour and gain lustre — a medal awarded by time.
Attention
- Keep away from moisture and oil. Be sure to remove the item before washing dishes, showering or swimming. If it accidentally gets wet, wipe it dry with a dry cloth and let it air dry in a cool, well-ventilated area. Never expose it to direct sunlight or dry it with a hair dryer.
- Do not store alongside perfume, cosmetics or other strongly scented items.
- Avoid high temperatures and direct sunlight.
- Avoid dropping or bumping the beads.
- When not in use, store it in an airtight box or bag.
